What are the rules for embroidery patterns on fabric? How is embroidery cost calculated?

Fabric embroidery processes are influenced by equipment and pattern design. Details are as follows: 【Pattern Layout Requirements】 • Embroidery is limited by the machine‘s cycle; patterns must be arranged according to the machine’s stitching cycle. • Pattern dimensions must stay within the machine‘s effective embroidery area. 【Cost Factors】 • Pattern complexity: More complex patterns require more stitches, resulting in higher costs. • Embroidery area: Larger embroidery areas cost more. • Number of colors: Multi-color embroidery costs more than single-color. • Process difficulty: Special embroidery techniques add to the cost. 【Quotation Note】 Embroidery costs are calculated based on the specific pattern’s stitch count, color count, and process complexity. An accurate quote can be provided once the pattern is submitted.

What is the difference between sized and unsized fabric?

Sized and unsized fabrics differ significantly in hand feel and performance: 【Unsized Fabric】 • Hand feel: Soft and comfortable • Disadvantages: Prone to deformation and shrinkage • Suitable for: Products that prioritize a soft hand feel 【Sized Fabric】 • Hand feel: Slightly stiffer, more crisp and structured • Advantages: Better resistance to deformation and shrinkage • Suitable for: Bag products that require a crisp, structured shape 【Selection Advice】 Choose based on product positioning and usage scenario. For structured, shaped bags, sized fabric is recommended; for soft, casual styles, unsized fabric is a good option.
